Welcome to our Campaign!

Welcome to all former pupils of St Mary's School Ascot, your families and friends as well as anyone with links to the school - be they past or present. While the AOGA pages of www.st-marys-ascot.co.uk will always keep you up to date with current events and each other, this site is dedicated initially - until Easter 2008 at least - to supporting the St Mary's School Performing Arts Centre Appeal. With a network of over 2000 Ascot Old Girls in 55 countries of the world, it is an ongoing challenge to communicate and engage you all in the campaign - which is where this site comes in. Whether you decide to make a card donation online, get sponsored to do a parachute jump, organise an event, volunteer to help at an AOGA co-ordinated event, sell those curtains you've been meaning to sell for ages in the online shop, promote your business on the Links page or bid in the online auction, there are a myriad of ways to be part of this campaign. We've even included a Brainbox page for those of you who like to spend time with a coffee in the morning and have your brain cells tickled! This page will change every day which gives you a perfect excuse to come by regularly and see what else is new. Together we can make a difference - our numbers mean that however small an individual donation may be, collectively it all adds up… Why choose to be a part of this? Simply, because we all benefited from the generosity of past parents and Old Girls when we were at school by way of facilities, buildings, teaching standards and pastoral care and now it's our turn. The Performing Arts Centre will be a platform both for expression of creative and dramatic talent as well as a professional launch pad for those girls who decide that the Arts is to be their vocation in life. On a day to day, practical level, it will provide a flexible and large enough space for the entire school to be able to gather for Morning Assembly and other events - something that is impossible now. This is your site - enjoy it, use it, spread the word about it and tell us what you would like to see in it.
